Sweden enjoys an eventual history of modern and contemporary art and for many reasons this country has become an attraction to art lovers, antique collectors, and painting aficionados. Bukoswskis is actually a hot marketplace for great sellers such as Andy Warhol, Antony Gormley, and Richard Avedon. This auction house was commenced up in 1870 by Henryk Bukowski. He was the first auctioneer too in Sweden who conducted first catalogued auctions for people.
Every year four major auctions are conducted in Bukowskis, and all auctions emphasis on the modern and contemporary art as well as design in furniture, silver, and glass. Sales are also made at international auctions where old antique pieces, paintings of 19th century, and valuable items are sold.

Hardcore (2002) – Nathalie Djurberg (b. 1978): she has dominated the art field by displaying something very unique- an art scene of violent and terror bolded with clay animations, presenting clear picture of what’s happening these days. But, her art has intense meanings if you have guts to comprehend the actual message. Price 12,650, 15 800 euro
Kastellet Girl (2007) – Antony Gormley: He is one of the best sculpture designer and artist. He made many impressive and breath-taking sculptures that were globally admired- his human bodies, closed and massive remind the pain of loneliness. Price 87 400 -105000 euro)
Dovima with Elephants – Richard Avedon: His photographs present vogue and trend of the 20th century. The photo nominated for the auction was taken in the Cirque d’Hiver in Paris, and in the image there is a famous model named “Dovima” wearing a designer’s evening dress. The outfit was the first costume designed for Dior By Yves Saint Laurent. Price 262 650-315 150 euro
